Stephanie D. Garrett, PharmD, BCPS

Director of Pharmacy Education

Dr. Garrett came to RxPrep after 20 years of experience as a faculty member and clinical pharmacist. Dr. Garrett served as an Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University for nine years, followed by nine years as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. Dr. Garrett has precepted over 200 APPE students, as well as numerous pharmacy and medical residents on clinical rotations during her career. She is dedicated to teaching and mentoring future pharmacists as a member of the RxPrep team and has helped develop and expand RxPrep’s content designed for College of Pharmacy administrators and faculty.

Clinical Pharmacist Educator

Dr. Veverka came to RxPrep after 14 years of experience in pharmacy education and hospital pharmacy practice. She served eight years as a faculty member at Wingate University School of Pharmacy, followed by six years as a Clinical Team Leader and PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program Director at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Veverka has mentored pharmacy students and residents in developing clinical skills, practice-based research, and leadership skills throughout her career. She has been dedicated to the training of future pharmacists and enjoys assisting students and professionals as a member of the RxPrep team.

Chelsea Bombatch, PharmD, BCPS

Clinical Pharmacist Educator

Dr. Bombatch served as one of the first clinical pharmacists at the Washington Health System in Washington, Pennsylvania, practicing for three years while establishing the clinical pharmacist role and expanding clinical pharmacy services throughout the health system. She also taught at the Washington Health System School of Nursing and the Family Medicine Residency program affiliated with the health system. Dr. Bombatch has authored and contributed to scholarly publications regarding a wide variety of topics, including the herpes zoster vaccine in patients with HIV, pediatric asthma and cystic fibrosis, and Prader-Willi syndrome. She is excited to continue teaching and mentoring future pharmacists as a part of the RxPrep team.

Caitlin Davis, PharmD, BCPS

Clinical Pharmacist Educator

During her two years of residency at Methodist University Hospital, Dr. Davis served as chief resident while becoming an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) instructor and teaching lectures at the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy. She later served as a clinical pharmacist for three years at the University of Kansas Hospital in internal medicine, neurology, and emergency medicine. Before coming to RxPrep, she volunteered in rural Belize at Hillside Clinic, where she precepted pharmacy students and cared for indigenous patients. Currently, Dr. Davis is serving on the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) Pharmacotherapy Self-Assessment Program (PSAP) Standards Setting Panel. She is excited to continue educating our future pharmacists with the RxPrep team!

Clinical Pharmacist Educator

Dr. Brian began her teaching career as a full-time clinical faculty member at the Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher College, where she helped create and deliver the curriculum for the school’s inaugural class. After her time at Fisher, Dr. Brian took a position at the D’Youville College School of Pharmacy, contributing to developing and delivering the curriculum. In her 13 years as a clinical faculty member, Dr. Brian has practiced in multiple settings, including long-term care, inpatient adult medicine, and ambulatory care. Dr. Brian’s passion is teaching, focusing and she is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with student pharmacists nationwide as part of the RxPrep team.

Peter Colley, PharmD, BCPS AQ-ID, AAHIVP

Clinical Pharmacist Educator

Dr. Colley served for five years as the Infectious Diseases (ID) Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Baylor Scott & White Health in Dallas, Texas. While there, he precepted many pharmacy students and residents on the ID and antimicrobial stewardship rotations. He also served as a primary preceptor for several resident research projects, many of which led to publications in peer-reviewed journals and/or presented as posters at the National Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) annual conference. Dr. Colley has always maintained a strong interest in teaching and is excited to play a role as a member of the RxPrep team in helping future pharmacists begin their careers.
